The service

Gamivu offers a catalog of browser games. The service is provided as is: there is no promise of uninterrupted availability or that a given game will still be here tomorrow.

The catalog

Games are added and updated over time, and a game may be withdrawn. The page of a withdrawn game stays online, says so and points to similar games.

Intellectual property

The games, including their names, characters, levels, artwork, music and sound, the Gamivu name and logo, and the design and text of the site belong to Gamivu and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may play the games in your browser for personal use, link to any page of the site and show a game on your own site with the official embed code from its page. No other right is granted.

Acceptable use

• No automated scraping or bulk downloading.
• Do not inflate play statistics; those numbers are printed on the pages and affect rankings.
• Do not present any part of the site elsewhere as your own content.
• Do not publish the games or their files on another site, and do not show them inside another site's frame except through the official embed code.
• Do not copy, extract or reuse the code, art or sound of a game, and do not use them in another product.

Comments

A comment you leave on a game is read before it appears, and may be rejected or later removed without a stated reason. A comment may not contain links, contact details, personal information or insults. The nickname you use is shown publicly, so use a nickname rather than your real name. Gamivu may display your comment on the game's page. The delete my data page removes it.

Ideas you send

A game request or message you send is a suggestion. Gamivu may make a game from any idea, including one close to yours, and sending an idea does not create a claim to payment, credit or ownership of the result.

Liability

No liability is accepted for indirect damages arising from use of the site. This does not limit any liability that the law of your country does not allow to be limited.

These terms may change; the date on this page is updated when they do.
