8 games

Games you play online with a friend, each on your own phone, tablet or computer. Start a game, send the room link, and your friend joins in their own language.

Camber Racing seats two to four drivers on one road. You pick the road, the number of laps and the number of players, send the link, and the race starts when every seat is taken. Each driver uses the car they own and picked, and laps and checkpoints count the same for everyone. Mettle Fighting is a real-time match: you both choose a fighter, pick an arena and fight, and Play with a friend works on phones as well as keyboards. If someone leaves, a bot fights on for them.

Sillage Racing is the top-down racer here: two to four players on one of its five tracks, from the harbour to the old town at night. Each player drifts a gold ribbon in their own colour, and only the player who painted a ribbon can ride it. You pick the track, the laps (one to five) and the number of players, then send the link. If a player drops, the game drives their car until they open the link again and take it back.

Crowds, tanks and land

Hirsel Crowd Runner puts two crowds on one of three roads, side by side and at the same speed. They clash where the roads meet, the bigger crowd wins the heat, and two heats win the match. Raid gates take runners from your rival, and if a player drops the computer steers their crowd until they are back.

Crater Tanks is the turn-based one: two, three or four players, everyone for themselves on a map from any of its biomes. Each of you plays your own turn on your own device, setting angle and power, and a bot takes over the tank of anyone who leaves. Bocage Land Grab runs in real time instead, two to six people in one arena: you steer a marker off your own land, close a loop with your hedge line to claim everything inside it, and any marker that touches your open line takes every field you hold. The game's rivals fill the field, and a rival takes over if someone leaves.

A maze built against a friend

Latch Maze Defense is a duel between mazes. You and a friend get the same map and the same waves on a shared clock, and there is no road: each of you lays blocks to build the route the clockwork column walks. Gold goes into your own maze or into squads sent to your rival's entrance, which also raise your income at every wave start. Whoever loses all lives first loses, and if both last, more lives wins.

Starting a match

Create the room, choose the options such as the road, the laps, the arena or the map, then send the link to your friend. There is no account and nothing to download. All seven games are free to play in the browser on a phone, a tablet or a computer. The options differ by game: the road and laps in Camber Racing, the track and laps in Sillage Racing, the arena in Mettle Fighting, the map in Crater Tanks. When a player leaves, a bot takes the seat in Mettle Fighting and Crater Tanks, the game drives the car in Sillage Racing, the game's own rivals take it in Bocage Land Grab, and the computer steers the crowd in Hirsel Crowd Runner.
