About Sillage Racing
Five places close their roads for a morning: a harbour, a pine forest, a red canyon, a mountain pass and an old town after rain. The tyres leave gold paint behind, and the driver who reads their own line best on the second lap takes the cup.
Top-down drift racing: 15 tracks in 5 cups, five rivals, friends online. Every drift paints a gold ribbon you ride next lap for speed.
How to play Sillage Racing
Your car accelerates on its own. Steer with the Left and Right arrows or A and D, and hold Space or Shift to drift; on a phone use the two arrow pads under your left thumb and the Drift pad under your right. Hold Drift while you steer into a corner: steering further into the slide tightens it, steering against it opens it wide. Let go of Drift to come out; a slide of more than half a second ends with a burst of speed, and the longer the slide, the bigger the burst. Every drift paints a gold ribbon on the road. Drive along your own ribbon, the way it was painted, and the car gains top speed and grip and holds the painted line. Drift again over a stretch you painted on an earlier lap and it goes up a level, up to three. Down or S brakes. Each cup is three races of three laps against five rivals, scored 10, 7, 5, 3, 2 and 1 points; a podium in the cup opens the next cup and a new car. The Fernwood cup adds gravel, Redrock crests you fly off (land straight for a burst) and soft sand, Glacier ice where your ribbon's grip is what holds the line, and Lantern wet cobbles with puddles that only your ribbon crosses without sliding. Your race score counts your drift chains, the metres you ride on your ribbon, the cars you pass and your finishing place.

Features
Ribbons you ride
Every drift paints a gold ribbon. Riding it adds speed and grip, and drifting it again raises it to level two and three.
5 cups, 15 tracks
A harbour, a pine forest with gravel, a canyon with crests and sand, a glacier with ice and an old town at night with puddles.
Four cars
Vela, Brio, Mako and Tundra, each opened by a cup podium, from a quick roadster to a rally wagon that keeps grip on loose ground.
Race with friends
Two to four players race one track in real time from a shared link; each ribbon shows in its driver's colour.
Daily track and hard mode
One race a day with the same grid for everyone and a percentile at the finish; hard mode makes rivals quicker and lets ribbons fade a lap after they are painted.
Tips
- Spend the first lap drifting the corners on the line you want: from the second lap on that line is a rail that is faster than anything else on the track.
- Drift the same arc again on a later lap to raise it a level; a level-three ribbon adds almost ten metres per second.
- On ice and through puddles your own ribbon keeps its grip, so paint those corners early in the race.
- Let go of Drift as the car points down the road: the burst comes on the exit, and a wall ends the slide with nothing banked.
- Keep the wheels straight before a crest: a straight landing gives a burst, a crooked one only a thump.
Frequently asked questions
Can I play it on a phone?
Yes. Two arrow pads sit under the left thumb and a Drift pad under the right, and several fingers work at once.
What does the gold ribbon do?
It marks where you drifted. Driving along it the way it was painted adds top speed and grip; drifting over it again on a later lap raises its level, up to three.
Can rivals use my ribbon?
No. Only the car that painted a ribbon can ride it, also in a race with friends.
How do I open the next cup?
Finish a cup in the top three on points. That opens the next cup and a new car.
How do I race with a friend?
Pick Play with a friend on the title screen, choose the track, the laps and the number of players, and send the link.
