About Dropolis Hole
The ground under Dropolis has started to give way, and four sinkholes are racing through the streets. Yours is the amber one. In ninety seconds the city decides which hole ate the most of it.
Steer a hole through a small city and swallow everything smaller than you, from traffic cones to towers, before the 90 second clock runs out.
How to play Dropolis Hole
Drag anywhere on the screen to steer the hole, like a joystick; on a keyboard use WASD or the arrow keys. Anything smaller than the hole tips over the edge and falls in, and every object adds to your size. The hole grows in steps, and each step lets you swallow bigger things: benches and street trees first, then cars, kiosks, buses, houses and finally tall buildings. Three rival holes roam the same streets. A clearly bigger hole swallows a smaller one, so eat rivals once you outgrow them and run from the ones that outgrow you: if a rival swallows you, the run ends. Arrows at the screen edge show where the rivals are. Your score is the total mass you swallow; the daily challenge gives everyone the same city. Finishing a round in first place opens hard mode, where the rival holes are faster and pick their food better.

Features
90-second rounds
Each round drops you into a freshly built city and gives you 90 seconds to steer a hole through it and eat as much as you can before time runs out.
10 size steps
The hole grows through 10 size steps as it swallows mass, starting with benches and street trees and ending with the tallest towers in the city.
Three rival holes
Three AI-controlled holes roam the same streets. A clearly bigger hole swallows a smaller one, so who is predator and who is prey changes as everyone grows.
Hard mode and daily challenge
Finishing a round in first place unlocks hard mode, where rivals move faster and pick their food better; the daily challenge gives every player the same city for the day.
Tips
- Clear the sidewalks first: cones, bins, benches and street trees fill the first two size steps in a few seconds.
- A building that trembles over your hole is still too big; the progress bar shows how much mass you need for the next step.
- Parking lots and parked cars along the curbs are the fastest mass once you reach size 3.
- A pulsing rival arrow or rim means that hole can swallow you; move away, since rivals are slower than you and give up a long chase.
- Towers are worth more than everything around them together, so save the last seconds for the tallest building you can fit.
Frequently asked questions
How many size steps does the hole grow through?
Ten. Each step needs more swallowed mass and opens up bigger targets, from cones and benches at the start to towers at the end.
What happens if a rival hole gets bigger than mine?
A hole clearly bigger than yours can swallow you and end the run. A pulsing rival arrow or rim is the warning to move away before that happens.
How do I unlock hard mode?
Finish any round in first place. Hard mode makes the three rival holes faster and better at choosing what to eat.
Does Dropolis Hole save my progress?
Progress is saved on the device you play on, no account exists. A sync code can move favorites and progress to another device.
Can I play it on my phone?
Yes. Drag anywhere on the screen to steer the hole like a joystick; on desktop the same drag works with a mouse, or use WASD and the arrow keys.
