About Camber Racing
Five roads are closed off one weekend at a time: the stone streets of Old Town, the container quay at Saltmere, the climb up Ridgeback, the packed sand of Dune Basin and the park lit by its lamps after dark. You start in a small hatchback with no reputation and work up through club nights to the legends' events.
3D car racing with real handling: drift, race rivals and friends online on five roads, from a harbour to a mountain pass. 30-event career and 8 cars.
How to play Camber Racing
Accelerate with W or the Up arrow, brake and reverse with S or Down, steer with A and D or the arrows, and tap Space for the handbrake. On a phone the tall pedal on the right accelerates, the wide one brakes, the round button is the handbrake, and you steer with the arrows on the left or by tilting the phone. Every car behaves like a real one: weight shifts forward under braking and outward in corners, tyres hold up to a point and then slide, and pressing too hard makes the front wash wide. Rear-drive cars step out when you give them throttle in a corner; catch the slide by steering against it and hold it with the throttle to drift. The career has 30 events in six tiers: races, sprints, knockouts where the last car is out every lap, time trials against your own ghost and drift contests scored by angle and speed. Each event has three star goals, stars open new tiers, and credits buy cars, upgrades and paint. Roam lets you drive any road freely and hunt speed traps, drift zones and gate runs. With a friend you race on one road in real time, two to four players.
Controls
- Touch
- Hold the right pedal to accelerate and the left one to brake, tap the round button for the handbrake, and steer with the arrows or by tilting the phone.

Features
Handling that rewards skill
Weight transfer, tyre grip that peaks and falls away, open and locked differentials and a gearbox with automatic and manual modes. Eight cars from a light front-drive hatch to an all-wheel-drive top car, each with its own balance.
Five roads, ten layouts
A stone street circuit, a harbour with two hairpins, a mountain sprint that climbs over 100 metres, a desert loop with loose sand and a night circuit lit by its lamps. Each road also runs in reverse.
30-event career
Six tiers of races, sprints, knockouts, time trials and drift contests, each with three star goals. Stars open the next tier and some paints; credits buy cars, three levels of engine, tyre and weight upgrades, and a tuning setup per car.
Free roam challenges
Drive any road with no rivals and find its speed trap, drift zone and gate run: 15 challenges with three stars each.
Race friends in real time
Create a room, send the link and race two to four players on one road, with laps and checkpoints counted the same for everyone. A daily time trial gives everyone the same road, car and weather.
Tips
- Brake in a straight line before a corner and release the brake as you turn in: braking while turning hard overloads the front tyres and the car runs wide.
- In a rear-drive car, a short tap of the handbrake as you turn in starts a drift; steer against the slide and keep a steady throttle to hold the angle.
- Drift points grow with angle and speed, and the multiplier climbs every 1.6 seconds the chain lasts, so link corners with short slides instead of straightening up between them.
- Touching a wall ends a drift chain and loses its points, so bank a big chain by straightening up before a tight section.
- On packed sand and wet roads the tyres hold less but slide more gently: brake earlier and use smaller steering inputs.
Frequently asked questions
How do I drift in Camber Racing?
Use a rear-drive car such as the Mako or the Torva. Turn in, tap the handbrake or give it full throttle, then steer the other way as the rear slides and hold the throttle steady. The drift meter at the top counts points while the car is sideways at speed.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Pedals and a handbrake button sit on the right and steering arrows on the left; in the settings you can switch steering to tilting the phone. Assists are set to Full on phones and can be turned down.
How do I play with friends?
Press Play with a friend, pick a road, the number of laps and two to four players, and share the room link. The race starts when every seat is taken, and each player drives the car they own and picked.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, on this device: stars, credits, cars, upgrades, paint and your best laps are kept in the browser. There is no account.
What is the difference between the assist levels?
Full helps steer into a slide and adds traction control and ABS. Light keeps some steering help and ABS. Off gives you the car alone, which is faster in the right hands but easy to spin.
