About Dacha Durak
A summer evening in a dacha settlement: tea on the veranda, cards in the gazebo, the bathhouse bench, the station platform before the last train, the pond jetty, the apiary, the orchard and the chairman's porch. Every table keeps its own house rule and its own regulars, and whoever is left holding cards is the fool until the next deal.
Durak, the fool card game, podkidnoy and perevodnoy: two to six players, trump under the stock, teams of two, eight tables and a daily deal.
How to play Dacha Durak
Each player gets six cards from a 36-card deck; the next card is turned face up under the stock and its suit is trump. The lowest trump attacks first and play runs clockwise. The attacker leads any card against the next player, who beats it with a higher card of the same suit or with any trump, or takes the cards on the table. Once every card is beaten, the other players may throw in cards of a rank already on the table, up to six cards in a bout and never more than the defender held; the defender beats those too or takes everything. In perevodnoy, before beating anything, the defender may add a card of the same rank and pass the whole attack to the next player. After a bout everyone draws back up to six, the attacker first and the defender last. When the stock is gone, a player without cards is out, and the last player holding cards is the fool. Tap a card to play it, or drag it onto the card it beats; when a card can beat more than one, tap it and then the card to cover. Take, Done and Show buttons sit beside your name. The road has eight tables, each adding a rule: throw-ins by everyone, transfers, neighbours only with a first bout of five, showing a trump to transfer, teams of two, a 52-card deck and a table of six. Keys: Tab and the arrow keys move between cards and buttons, Enter plays, T takes, P passes, S shows a trump. To play friends online, press Play with a friend, pick two to six players and the house rules, and send the link; bots fill the empty seats.

Daily deal and missions
The same three deals for every player each day, nineteen missions from a first match to a hard-mode win, three goals per match and six card backs to open.
Tips
- Lead low cards you hold a pair of: if the defender beats one, you can throw in the other.
- Spend low trumps when you must, but keep the high ones for the end, when the stock is gone and every card counts.
- Taking two low cards early is often cheaper than spending a high trump on them.
- Watch what each rival picks up: a player who took the king of hearts still holds it, so do not lead a low heart into them.
- When a rival takes, throw in your low cards of the ranks on the table: you get rid of them and they carry them.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between podkidnoy and perevodnoy?
In podkidnoy the defender either beats every card or takes them. In perevodnoy the defender may also transfer: while nothing is beaten yet and every card on the table has one rank, they add a card of that rank and the next player has to defend all of them.
Who attacks first?
In the first deal, the player with the lowest trump shows it and attacks. If nobody holds a trump, the player to the dealer's left attacks. At tables set to open at the fool, later deals start with an attack on the last fool.
How many cards can be thrown in?
At most six in a bout, five in the first bout where the table says so, and never more than the defender held when the bout began. Throw-ins must match a rank already on the table.
Can I play Dacha Durak with friends?
Yes. Press Play with a friend, pick two to six players and the house rules, and send the link. Anyone who opens it takes a seat, and bots play the seats nobody took. Online matches count toward no mission or road table.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. Tap a card to play it, or drag it onto the card it beats. When one card could cover several, tap it and then the card to cover. Take and Done sit beside your name.
Does the game save my progress?
Yes, your road progress, records, card backs and a match in progress save on this device. To move them to another phone or computer, use Sync devices and enter the code it gives you, no account needed.
