About Karnak Pyramid Solitaire
Sixty chambers under the sand, each sealed behind a wall of cards stacked like the temple itself. The way through is always a pair that makes thirteen, and the deeper rooms have their own locks: veils, scarabs, cartouches and wax seals.
Pyramid solitaire with 0, 1 or 2 redeals, a 60-stage journey through six chambers with new rules in each, and a daily deal. Every deal can be won.
How to play Karnak Pyramid Solitaire
Clear the pyramid by removing uncovered cards in pairs that add up to 13: Ace counts 1, Jack 11, Queen 12, and a King is removed on its own. A card is uncovered when no card lies on it. Tap the stock to turn one card onto the waste; the top card of the waste pairs with an uncovered card or with the next card you turn. When the stock is empty, tap it again to turn the waste back over, as many times as the redeals allow. Tap one card, then its partner: the cards that pair with your pick light up. The deal is won when the last pyramid card is gone, and every card still in the stock and every unused redeal adds a bonus. If nothing pairs and the stock cannot turn again, the deal is over. Undo and Hint can each be used three times per deal. Classic mode deals the seven-row pyramid; the Redeals button sets 2, 1 or 0 redeals for the deal (before your first move it redeals at once). Journey mode is 60 stages in six chambers, each table in its own shape: face-down cards that turn up once uncovered, scarabs that pair with any card, cartouches that hold one parked card each, seals that open when a card of their suit is removed, and a last chamber where three cards adding up to 13 also go. Each clear earns up to three stars: one for the clear, one for cards kept in the stock and one for a long combo. Keys: Tab and the arrow keys move between cards, Enter picks, Space or D turns the stock, Z or Backspace undoes, H shows a hint, Escape drops the pick. Points: 50 per pyramid card and 10 per waste card, times the combo multiplier (one more every four removals in a row, up to x5, reset when the stock turns), 500 for the top card of a pyramid, 100 for each row emptied, and 100 per card left in the stock and 250 per unused redeal at the end. Clearing any deal opens hard mode: no Undo, no Hint and no redeal.

Features
Pairs of 13 clear the pyramid
Ace counts 1, Jack 11, Queen 12, and a King is removed on its own; every deal in Karnak can be won.
Choose your redeals
Classic mode lets you set 2, 1 or 0 redeals of the waste pile before you start, changing how forgiving a deal is.
60-stage journey through six chambers
Each chamber's tables add a new rule: face-down cards that turn up once uncovered, scarabs that pair with any card, cartouches that park one card each, seals that open when their suit is removed, and a final chamber where three cards adding to 13 also clear.
Three stars per stage
One star for clearing the pyramid, one for cards kept in the stock, and one for a long combo.
Daily deal
The same winnable deal for every player, once a day.
Hard mode
Winning any deal unlocks it: no Undo, no Hint and no redeal.
Tips
- Look two moves ahead before you pair: taking the pair that uncovers a card with a partner already in sight keeps the combo going.
- Kings cost nothing to remove, so clear an uncovered King first; it often frees two cards at once.
- Before you turn the stock, check whether the waste card pairs with anything; once it is covered it waits for the next redeal.
- Count the pairs you still need: four of each pair of ranks exist in the deck, so if three Sixes are gone, the last Seven needs the last Six.
- Save a cartouche for the card that blocks the most cards beneath it, not for the first card that has no partner.
Frequently asked questions
How do pairs of 13 work in Karnak Pyramid Solitaire?
Tap an uncovered card, then a second uncovered card that adds up to 13 with it: Ace counts 1, Jack 11, Queen 12, and a King is removed on its own. A card is uncovered once no card lies on top of it.

Yes, Classic mode, Journey mode and the daily deal are all free, with no account needed.

Can I play with only the keyboard?
Yes, Tab and the arrow keys move between cards, Enter picks one, Space or D turns the stock, Z or Backspace undoes, H shows a hint, and Escape drops the current pick.
