About Bollard Port Tycoon
Five harbors are up for lease along a cold coast: the fishing town of Saltmere, the tidal flats of Marrowmouth, icebound Frostholm, storm-beaten Gullcrest and the rail yards of Ironhaven. Each pays more than the last, if its quay can keep up with the ships.
A harbor tycoon seen from above: unload container ships, stack the yard, truck boxes out for cash, fill contracts and charter five ports.
How to play Bollard Port Tycoon
Ships of each shipping line sail into the harbor and moor at a free berth. Tap the crane to lift their boxes into the yard, then tap the gate to send trucks out; every box that leaves through the gate pays. Hire a crew for each crane and a dispatcher for the gate and the port runs on its own, for up to two hours while you are away. Lines set what a box is worth and bring bigger ships at levels 10, 25, 50, 100, 150 and 200; berths, cranes, the yard and the gate set how many boxes the port can move. Ships waiting at anchor mean the quay is too slow, a full yard means the gate is. Contracts on the board ask for a number of boxes of one cargo within a time limit and pay cash and reputation. With the reputation goal met and all six lines open you can charter the port: the next one opens with higher values, and the anchors you earn buy lasting upgrades in the harbor office. Marrowmouth keeps big ships outside at low tide until you dredge the bar, Frostholm's ice floes close the channel until you break them or buy a tug, Gullcrest's storms hold ships outside until the lighthouse guides them in, and Ironhaven's freight trains pay more for each box. The daily challenge gives everyone the same port for five minutes; your score is the cash you earn.

Features
Five ports to charter
Start at Saltmere and charter your way through Marrowmouth's low tide, Frostholm's ice floes, Gullcrest's storms and Ironhaven's rail yards, each port raising the cargo values.
Runs while you are away
Hire a crew for every crane and a dispatcher for the gate, and the port keeps unloading ships and paying out for up to two hours off screen.
Contracts and reputation
The board offers cargo contracts against the clock; filling them pays cash and reputation, and reputation is what lets you charter the port to the next one.
Hard mode
Unlocked after your first charter. Upgrades cost more, the charter reputation goal is higher, and a ship left waiting too long at anchor leaves the harbor for good.
19 missions
From opening your fourth berth to maxing out a crane, chartering five ports and winning a run in hard mode.
Daily challenge
A five-minute run on the same port layout for every player; the score is the cash you bring in before the clock runs out.
Tips
- A ship waiting at anchor means the quay is the limit: build a berth or upgrade the slowest crane before buying more line levels.
- When the yard fills up the cranes stop; upgrade the gate rather than the yard if boxes pile up faster than the trucks take them.
- Hire a crew for every crane and a gate dispatcher early: without all of them nothing is earned while you are away.
- Levels 10, 25, 50, 100, 150 and 200 of a line bring a bigger ship class, so a contract for that cargo fills faster after the next step.
- Rush contracts pay three reputation but give the least time; take them on the line whose ships are already large.
Frequently asked questions
How do I charter a port and move to the next one?
Hit the reputation goal shown on the charter button and open all six shipping lines. Once both are met, charter the port from the harbor office; the anchors you earn buy lasting upgrades and the next port opens with higher cargo values.
How many ports does Bollard have?
Five: Saltmere, the tidal flats of Marrowmouth, icebound Frostholm, storm-beaten Gullcrest and the rail yards of Ironhaven, each with its own obstacle to work around.
Is Bollard hard, and what does hard mode change?
The normal game is a matter of keeping berths, cranes, the yard and the gate balanced. Hard mode raises upgrade prices, needs more reputation to charter, and drops any ship that waits too long at anchor without a free berth.
Does Bollard save my progress?
Your port, upgrades, reputation and mission progress save automatically on this device. A sync code moves that save to another device; no account is needed.
Can I play Bollard on my phone?
Yes, the whole harbor runs on taps: tap a crane to unload, tap the gate to send trucks out, tap upgrade buttons to spend cash.
Is there a daily challenge?
Yes, one five-minute run on a port that is identical for every player that day; your score is the cash earned in that window, so it is a fair comparison of harbor management, not luck.
