About Creel Fishing
Five waters behind your bait stall each hide a fish that no worm has ever raised. The recipe book is empty, the line is thin, and the old anglers only drop hints.
Cast, strike and reel without snapping the line at five waters. Odd baits and bait pairs bring rare fish and a legend to every water.
How to play Creel Fishing
Press and hold to draw the rod back, aim the mark on the water and let go when the ring closes for a perfect cast; a sloppy splash scares fish nearby. The bait sinks: tap while it sinks to set the float at that depth. Fish notice a still bait, swim up, look it over and nibble, and the float twitches; tap only when it goes under. Then hold to reel and let go to give line, keeping the tension needle in the green: too much snaps the line, too little lets the fish throw the hook, and a fish that empties the spool is gone. When the fish turns, drag sideways while reeling (or press an arrow key) to hold the rod against its swim, as the arrow over it shows. Tap baits along the bottom to put one or two on the hook: some fish come only for an odd bait or an exact pair, at their own hour. Between trips, buy bait packs and better gear at the dock.

Features
Five waters, five legends
A millpond, a river with current, a frozen lake fished through an ice hole, a coral reef and a night sea. Each has its own rule, 7 species and a legend that opens the next water.
Baits and bait pairs
11 flavours decide which fish come and 4 modifiers change how the bait works. Exact pairs such as cake with cheese bring fish that worms never do.
A fight for every species
Runners bolt, divers head for the bottom, jumpers leap clear of the water and sulkers lie deep. Hold and let go to keep the tension in the green.
Gear and a book to fill
Buy better rods, reels, lines, hooks and tackle boxes with catch money. The book keeps all 40 species with your best weight for each.
Daily catch and a tournament
A daily water with the same bait kit for everyone, hard mode after the first legend, and a three-minute tournament against a friend on one shared pool of fish.
Tips
- Tap as the bait sinks to stop it at the depth your fish swims: bottom feeders want it on the bed, risers want it floating.
- Wait out the nibbles. A strike while the float only twitches scares the fish off; strike the moment it goes under.
- When the fish turns, hold the rod against its swim: it tires faster and gives line, while a rod held with it pulls harder.
- Keep reeling through a jump and the head shakes after it: a slack line is how a hook comes out.
- Save rare baits for the hour their fish feeds: the Moon Bream comes only at dusk, so cake at noon is wasted.
Frequently asked questions
Why did my line snap?
The tension stayed over the top of the meter for a quarter second. Let go of the reel when the fish runs or the needle nears the red, and reel again when it eases. A stronger line from the gear tab raises the limit.
Why did the fish get away?
Either the line went slack too long and the fish threw the hook (keep some tension on, above all through jumps and head shakes), or it ran until the spool was empty. Hold the rod against its swim when it turns so it does not run off with all the line.
How do I find the rare fish?
Each rare fish wants an odd bait or an exact pair, at its own hour. The book shows a hint for every species you have not caught yet, and notes which baits a fish sniffed before it left.
Can I play it on a phone?
Yes. Press and hold on the water to cast, drag to aim, tap to strike and hold to reel. The baits are buttons along the bottom of the screen.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Coins, gear, baits and the book stay on this device, and the site's device sync can move them to another one.
How does the tournament work?
Send a friend the room link. You both fish the same water with the same gear and baits for three minutes; the heavier total catch takes the round, best of three.
