About Bonce Football
Six pitches across one city and its coast, each with a regular who thinks it is theirs. The courtyard teaches you the header; the rest of the circuit falls only to a power shot you earned in the air.
Big-head football, one against one: jump, head and kick. Headers charge a power shot. 24 rivals in 6 venues, 2 players on one device, or online.
How to play Bonce Football
Run left and right, jump, and kick the ball into the goal at the far end; the player on the other side does the same into yours. Jump into a high ball to head it. The moment your boot meets the ball sets its height: early in the swing drives it low, late lifts it. Every ball you win in the air from your rival, or off the frame, the wall or the ceiling, fills one pip of your power meter. With three pips the power button lights; press it as the ball reaches your boot to fire the power shot you picked: the Cannon at first, then the Dipper, Skimmer, Ghost and Hammer as you beat each venue's champion. A match lasts 90 seconds; level at full time, the next goal within 30 seconds wins, then it is a draw. The campaign runs through six venues with four rivals each, and every venue changes the rules: sand, a net ceiling, ice, goals that hang from cranes and wind.
Controls
- Touch

- Keyboard

Features
Headers charge the power shot
Every ball you win in the air fills a pip; three pips light a power shot. Five shots in all: Cannon, Dipper, Skimmer, Ghost and Hammer, each with its own flight and its own answer.
24 rivals in 6 venues
Courtyard, Dune Beach, Rooftop, Frozen Lake, Dockside and Storm Stadium each have four rivals with their own style, from a keeper who never leaves the goal to an aerial player who heads everything.
A new rule in every venue
Sand that kills the bounce, a net ceiling the ball rebounds from, ice you slide on, goals that hang from cranes and rise and fall, and wind gusts that push the ball in flight.
2 players on one device
Two players share one keyboard, or one phone or tablet with a set of buttons on each side of the screen. Any venue, any unlocked power shot.
Real-time duel online
Send a link and play a friend in real time on any venue. If someone loses connection, a bot plays for them until they are back.
Daily match and hard mode
The daily match is the same rival, venue and power shot for everyone that day, ranked by match points. Beating the Courtyard champion opens hard mode.
Tips
- Go up for balls your rival plays: a header on their kick fills a pip, while juggling the ball on your own head earns nothing.
- Time the kick, not just the position: start the swing early when the ball is at your feet for a hard low drive, and a little later for a shot that rises over a jumping keeper.
- Keep the power shot for a clear look at goal; a swing that misses keeps the charge, so you lose nothing by waiting for the right ball.
- Against the Dipper, stand under the drop near your goal and head it; against the Skimmer, stay on the ground and block it with your body.
- On the Rooftop, head the ball up into the net ceiling: it comes down steeply behind a rival who came forward.
Frequently asked questions
How does the power meter fill?
Win the ball in the air: a header, a chest or a volley on a ball your rival played last, or one that came off the frame, a wall or the ceiling. Each such touch fills one of three pips; touches on a ball you played yourself do not count.
How do I fire the power shot?
When all three pips are lit, press the power button (Shift on a keyboard) as the ball comes to your boot. The shot you picked on the title screen goes off; if the swing misses, the charge stays.
Can two people play on one phone?
Yes. Choose 2 players on the title screen and hold the phone sideways: each player gets run, jump, kick and power buttons on their own side of the screen.
What happens when the score is level at full time?
The match goes to golden goal: the next goal within 30 seconds wins. If nobody scores, it is a draw.
How do I open the other power shots?
Beat the champion of a venue, its fourth rival. The Courtyard opens the Dipper, Dune Beach the Skimmer, the Rooftop the Ghost and the Frozen Lake the Hammer.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, on this device: beaten rivals, stars, unlocked power shots, missions and your best match points stay, and the site's device sync can move them to another device.
