About Lanyard Swing
Lanyard runs parcels across the rooftops of a harbour city with one line and a satchel, from the brick lanes by the water at dusk to the lantern market after midnight. The depot closes at the end of every route; the balconies and drop boxes on the way all want their parcel first.
Hold to hook a line, let go to fly and deliver parcels across a harbour city. Four districts, 32 routes, a daily route and races with a friend.
How to play Lanyard Swing
Hold anywhere (or Space) to throw your line onto the lit anchor ahead and swing. Let go to fly on with your speed. Pass over a drop box on a roof or fly past an upper balcony to deliver its parcel, and reach the depot at the end of the route. Letting go on the gold arc, while you swing forward and up, is a perfect release: you fly a little faster and your chain grows. While the chain runs, parcels inside the dashed ring around you fly to their drops on their own. Falling into the street puts you back on the last roof and adds 3 seconds.

Features
Four districts, 32 routes
Harbour Row, Crane Yard, Laundry Heights and Lantern Market hold eight routes each, and every district adds its own anchors: moving crane hooks, elastic washing lines with gusts of wind, and rusty hooks that snap while fragile parcels ride along.
Perfect releases build a chain
Let go on the gold arc to sling forward faster. The chain climbs to 5, and while it runs, parcels within the ring around you fly to their drop boxes and balconies by themselves.
Three stars a route
Each route asks you to deliver every parcel, beat its time and make a number of perfect releases, and keeps your best time on the route map.
Daily route and hard mode
A new route every day mixes all four districts and compares your score with that day's players. Hard mode removes the awnings, shortens the line and ends a route after five falls.
Race a friend
Share a link and race the same route at the same time, with your rival's courier swinging beside you as a ghost; two seconds are added for every parcel left behind.
Tips
- Let go just after the lowest point of the swing, while the gold arc is lit: that throws you forward and up, the farthest flight a line gives.
- Hold early on a roof and the line zips you up off it: you start the swing higher and keep more speed than if you jump off the edge first.
- A chain of 3 or more tosses parcels from about 200 units away, so you can take the high line over a balcony instead of dropping to it.
- A wall knock or a backwards release ends the chain; a plain release that is not perfect keeps it.
- Rusty hooks in the Lantern Market hold for under a second: hook them on the way down, not at the top of a swing.
Frequently asked questions
How do I swing?
Press and hold anywhere, or hold Space. Your line hooks onto the anchor with the bright ring. Let go to fly on with the speed you have.
What happens if I fall?
You land back on the last roof you passed and 3 seconds are added to your time. On easy routes striped awnings over the street bounce you back up first.
What is a perfect release?
Letting go while you move forward and up, shown by the gold arc on your swing and a glow on your line. It adds speed and grows your chain by one, up to 5.
Do I have to deliver every parcel?
No. Reaching the depot finishes the route and opens the next one. Delivering every parcel earns one of the route's three stars.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, on this device: open routes, stars and best times. Sync devices on the site moves them to another device.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Touch and hold anywhere on the screen to hook, lift your finger to let go. It works upright and sideways.
