About Pennant Minefield
Old survey maps mark a strip of ground nobody has walked in years. You go in with a bundle of red pennants and one rule: step only where the numbers say it is safe.
A mine field logic game where no field ever needs a guess. Classic sizes, 64 campaign fields with hex cells, fog and double mines, and a daily field.
How to play Pennant Minefield
Open cells one at a time. A number shows how many mines touch that cell; a cell with no mines around it opens its neighbours by itself. Plant a pennant on a cell you know holds a mine by holding it, right-clicking it or switching to Pennant, and tap a number whose pennants are all placed to open every other cell around it. Every field starts from a marked cell that is always safe, and from there logic alone clears the whole field: a mine only goes off after a mistake. The campaign crosses eight regions of eight fields. Each region adds one thing: fields in shapes with gaps, hexagonal cells with six neighbours, numbers that count only the four cells beside them, fog that hides numbers, cells that hold two mines, and numbers that see two steps out; the last region mixes them all. Classic mode has small, medium and large square fields, and the daily field is the same for everyone with a different twist each weekday. Clearing 8 campaign fields opens hard mode: a fifth more mines and no hints.

Tips
- Start with the numbers that touch only one covered cell: a 1 next to a single covered cell is a mine, and a number already matched by pennants means everything else around it is safe.
- Compare two neighbouring numbers: if a 1 and a 2 share all but one cell, that extra cell of the 2 holds the second mine.
- Tap a number whose pennants are all placed to open the rest of its cells at once instead of opening them one by one.
- Check the mine counter near the end: when few covered cells are left, the number of mines left often settles the last cells.
- On fields with + and ring numbers, tap the number to see exactly which cells it counts before you rely on it.
