Tegula 2048

A tile workshop fires its pieces two at a time: every pair that meets in the kiln comes out as one tile worth both. The workshop's rooms each hold a job, from a slate courtyard to a palace floor laid in gold.

Slide glazed tiles and join equal numbers up to 2048 and past it. Four board sizes, 80 goal puzzles in eight chapters and a daily board.

Swipe, or press the arrow keys or WASD, and every tile slides as far as it can in that direction. Two tiles with the same number that meet join into one tile of their sum, and a new 2 or 4 lands on an empty cell after every move. Endless mode runs on a 3x3, 4x4, 5x5 or 6x6 board until no move is left; you start with two undos and earn one more each time a run first makes a 512, 1024, 2048 and so on, up to five. Chapters are hand-built puzzles with a goal and a move limit: make a given tile, break every stone, free every frozen tile or reach a score. Each chapter adds one new piece: stones that crack when you merge next to them, star tiles that join any number and double it, gold rings that double the merge that lands on them, bombs that blow up a stone they are pushed into, frozen tiles that melt as you merge beside them, and boards with holes in the floor. The daily board gives everyone the same 4x4 board and the same new tiles: best score in 150 moves. Making a 1024 in Endless or solving 20 puzzles opens hard mode: no undo, a stone every 40 moves in Endless, and the par as the move limit in chapters.
