About Trivet Tile Match
A trivet stands on three feet, and every tile here wants its other two. Eight rooms of a country house keep their curios stacked on the tables, from the Orchard's fruit to the Grand Hall's heirlooms, and each table clears only by threes.
Triple tile matching: tap open tiles into a tray of seven, three alike clear. 192 stacked boards in eight rooms, a daily board and races with a friend.
How to play Trivet Tile Match
Tap a tile with nothing lying on it to send it to the tray at the bottom. The tray keeps tiles of a kind together, and three alike clear at once. The tray holds seven: a tile that fills the last slot without making a triple loses the board, so start a new kind only when you can see where its partners are. Taps that clear a triple one after another build a cascade, and every third step of a cascade earns a lodestone. Tap the Lodestone button and then any tile, in the tray or on the board, even one buried under others, and the tiles of that kind still needed for a triple fly in from anywhere and clear. Each board gives two Undos, one Lift that moves three tray tiles to a shelf above it, and one Hint; a board cleared without them earns its second star, and a cascade of three earns the third. The rooms add veiled tiles that hide their faces until uncovered, vines that tie two tiles together, spools that stack tiles on one spot, frost that thaws after a number of triples, padlocks opened by key tiles and curtains opened by a triple of the tile on their medal. If the tray fills, a panel offers what help you have left. Clearing 12 Orchard boards opens hard mode: the tray holds six and there is no Undo, Lift or Hint.

Features
192 boards in eight rooms
Orchard, Tidewater, Glasshouse, Workshop, Lodge, Archive, Playhouse and Grand Hall hold 24 boards each, from 18 tiles on two layers to 165 tiles on five.
A new rule in every room
Veiled tiles, vines, spools, frost, padlocks with keys and stage curtains arrive one room at a time, each with its own tile set of ten drawings. The Grand Hall mixes them all.
Cascades and the lodestone
Clear triples on taps in a row and every third step earns a lodestone, which pulls the tiles a kind still needs from anywhere on the board, buried or held.
Every board can be cleared
Every board is built along a winning order, so there is always a way through, even in hard mode with a tray of six.
Stars, help and hard mode
One star for clearing a board, one for doing it without Undo, Lift or Hint, one for a cascade of three. Clearing 12 Orchard boards opens hard mode.
Daily board and races
A new board every day, the same for everyone, and races against a friend on the same board over one, three or five boards.
Tips
- Before you start a new kind, find all three of its tiles: a lone tile in the tray holds a slot until its partners come free.
- Take tiles that lie on top of others first; every tile you lift opens the ones beneath it.
- Build pairs of two or three kinds while their thirds are already open, then finish them on taps in a row to make a cascade and earn a lodestone.
- Save the lodestone for a tray with five or six tiles: aimed at a pair, it pulls the third out from under any stack.
- With six tiles in the tray, only take a tile that completes a triple.
Frequently asked questions
When do I lose a board?
When a tile fills the seventh slot of the tray without making a triple, or when every tile left is held and nothing can be taken. A panel then offers any Undo, Lift or lodestone you have left before the board ends.
How do I earn a lodestone?
Clear a triple on several taps in a row. Every third triple of such a cascade earns one lodestone, and lodestones carry over for the rest of the board.
Why can I not take this tile?
Something lies on it, or a room rule holds it: frost that needs more triples, a padlock whose key is still on the board, a vine whose other tile is covered, or a closed curtain. Tapping it shows which.
Can every board be cleared?
Yes. Each of the 192 boards, every daily board and every race board is built along a winning order, and the campaign boards are also checked to clear with a tray of six.
How does hard mode work?
It opens after 12 cleared Orchard boards. The tray holds six tiles instead of seven, and Undo, Lift and Hint are off; lodestones still work.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Stars and best scores stay on this device, and the site's device sync can move them to another one.
